Plus if I ever get my act together with a stone mulch, that would be even nicer!

The green-ness isn't natural, I'm afraid. I do use automatic sprinklers, although everything except the lawn is down to 5 minutes every other Reneehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14441140267067281722noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1545670869571990833.post-83146282438858889382012-09-09T19:46:59.393-07:002012-09-09T19:46:59.393-07:00I've never found a local source of little blue...I've never found a local source of little bluestem, which is too bad because I'd love to try it. I usually end up dividing the blue fescue every year or so. Maybe I'll try to find either a mail order or (glup) seeds for the bluestem next spring.

Thanks for your comment!Reneehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14441140267067281722noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1545670869571990833.post-54197321047657560652012-09-09T16:09:13.312-07:002012-09-09T16:09:13.312-07:00Nice. Would it work to put an agave or three in the foreground of the tree/rose area with opuntias behind? outlawgardenerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08273973572989510382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1545670869571990833.post-12894601625530505582012-09-09T12:58:11.430-07:002012-09-09T12:58:11.430-07:00That's not bad at all, considering summer and ...That's not bad at all, considering summer and all. I've never had luck with Blue Fescue after a few years, even on a north exposure with good water. Tried one of the cultivars of Little Bluestem to get that color? It seems tougher, at least here.Desert Dwellerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00952727692048782529noreply@blogger.com
